Welcome to thirteen acres of treed, grassed, riverfront camping located in Downtown Sooke.
This convenient campsite offers a large covered picnic area, RV dumping, flush toilets, showers, tenting and RV sites. Hydro and water available at many sites, horseshoe pitch, and small boat launching in park.
This campsite is close to ball fields, soccer fields, we are easy walking distance to the new Sooke Public Swimming Pool, Sooke Region Museum and Arena.
For your convenience and safety, the park has security lighting, a full-time resident caretaker, and the gates are locked at 11:00pm to 7:00am.

The campgournd is located at the north end of Sooke Potholes Provincial Park. There are 60 vehicle accessible campsites nestled amongst Douglas Fir and woodland forest. Campsite reservation are accepted, and first-come, first-served sites are also available. We do not reserve specific sites through our booking system. Only general reservations can be guaranteed. Vehicle access to the campground, other than for the purpose of overnight camping, is strictly prohibited.
Cold water taps are located at the campground. We advise that the wtaer be boiled before consumption. While fires are allowed, we encourage visitors to conserve the environment by minimizing the use of fire and using stoves instead. Campfire rings are provided at each campsite. Firewood can be purchased from TLC Staff.

52 RV sites, most with 115 volt power and fresh water. No sewer but there is a sani dump nearby. Septic truck comes weekly. 36 Tenting only sites. Group tenting site available. Portable toilets and coin operated showers. Close to Brentwood Bay and minutes drive from the World Famous Butchart Gardens. Fire rings on the beach. Fires MUST be in fire rings provided. Pets welcome but must be on a leash at all times.
As summer is a very busy time, reservations are recommended during the summer months.

The Thetis Lake Campground is essentially carved out of the southwest corner of Thetis Lake Regional Park and is located at the intersection of Highway 1 (Trans Canada Highway) and Six Mile Road in View Royal. The property is easily accessible from Highway 1, Old Island Highway and Six Mile Road and benefits from easy access to all of the local services and amenities in the region, including downtown Victoria, British Columbia's capital city. Just north of the property is the growing commercial hub of Langford, and in close proximity are numerous golf courses and other recreational activities.
The subject property is partially forested and has been terraced to accommodate RV sites, mobile home pads, tenting, and other camping sites and provides for a series of plateaus, benches and some gentle to moderate sloping. The property offers spectacular rocky outcroppings as well as open grassy areas and shady forested areas. Thetis Lake Park also offers several locations with pleasing views of the beach.
