Craigdarroch Castle in the winterChristmas at the Castle Each year Craigdarroch Castle outdoes itself for the holidays, and this year is no different! Fully transformed for the entire month of December, the rooms of the castle are all presented in traditional Victorian Christmas fashion, complete with original period toys peeking out from under the trees. Self-guided and group tours are available daily and special workshops and musical and theatrical performances abound throughout the month. Visit our event calendar for complete details. Holiday Harbour Stroll The Holiday Harbour Stroll is the perfect way to squeeze in maximum holiday cheer in a short amount of time. Stretching from one end of the Inner Harbour to the other, the harbour stroll includes stops at the Inn at Laurel Point for Canada’s Annual Gingerbread Showcase; Hotel Grand Pacific for the annual Bear Wear event; the Robert Bateman Centre and their amazing display of highly unique, up-cycled wreaths; the stunning Christmas lights of the Legislature and The Fairmont Empress for the Festival of Trees. Special coupons are available for many of these events so be sure to check out our website! Runs for Charity If you’re looking for a more physical activity than a leisurely stroll, why not try one of Victoria’s seasonal charity runs?
