Close your eyes and simply listen to the sounds that will take you straight back to your childhood. Beautifully performed Christmas carols take away the stress and remind you what Christmas is really about. Make time to enjoy a musical performance, like the grand performance of the Greater Victoria Concert Band or lots and lots of tubas at Market Square. Or stroll by Victoria's City Hall and join in the 50th Annual Carolling Week. There are numerous peaceful, swinging, jazzy, and definitely festive concerts around town for you to enjoy. 
Release more than sweat

Blast the Stress Away

Maybe what you need more than another Christmas cookie or candy cane is a full workout. Working out releases endorphins, blasting away the stress. Run along Dallas Road or on one of Victoria's many trails and leave your problems behind. While you're outside, stop by an outdoor fitness circuit for a little extra strength to make it through the holiday. If you're not the outdoorsy type this time of the year, head to a recreation facility to work up a sweat or do a little yoga to get in the right space of mind.
