The Butchart Gardens
Butchart Gardens is a fantastic place to be during the holiday season. The garden lights up with thousands of lights for the Magic of Christmas and delights with carolers, ice skating and wonderful food. A traditional Christmas day dinner will be available on the 25th (reservations are required). Take a special someone or the whole family to celebrate Christmas immersed in extraordinary Christmas lights and botanical beauty.
Inn at Laurel Point
Ease into the holiday month with a wonderful Gingerbread Afternoon Tea at the Inn at Laurel Point. Make sure to take a closer look at the extraordinary gingerbread creations on display at Canada's National Gingerbread Showcase.
Are your children requesting some one on one time with Saint Nick? The Inn at Laurel Point is putting on a series of amazing Santa Claus Brunch. The whole family can get into the holiday spirit with some festive breakfast and the big man himself. Kids! Make sure you know what you'd like for Christmas before you go! A Christmas day brunch will be available too. Reservations are suggested.
The Fairmont Empress
The Fairmont Empress Hotel offers a truly magical Christmas with an array of holiday options for you to choose from. Reservations required and space limited.
- A Christmas dinner will be available on December 25th and will be highlighted with live entertainment and filled with holiday food the whole family will enjoy. Festive dinners will also be available on December 23rd -24th.
- Want to meet the big man himself? Now you can! On December 13th join Santa Clause and his elves for Santa Brunch and face painting.
- Two Christmas Breakfast Buffets will be available on Christmas day and will include an array of tasty breakfast treats including a made-to-order omelet station. One will include live music and a special guest appearance.
- Nutcracker Afternoon Tea will be available December 7th - January 1st. A ballet tea will also be offered which will feature a piano rendition of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker.
How about a Chinese twist on Christmas dinner? Don Mee will be open Christmas Eve for dinner and the afternoon of Christmas day for lunch. Order a full or half size crispy braised duck and enjoy Christmas inside the heart of Victoria's Chinatown for a fantastic non-traditional Christmas. Reservations are preferred.
Oak Bay Beach Hotel
Christmas dinner with a view? The Oak Bay Beach Hotel has you covered. Enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner in their dining room or pub overlooking the ocean. Christmas brunch will also be offered on December 24th and 25th. Reservations are required and space is limited.
Sooke Harbour House
If you're looking for an intimate dinner, Sooke Harbor House is the perfect place for you. Located an hour away from downtown Victoria, it's nestled right on the waterfront. Expect a phenomenal multi course dinner with both traditional and non-traditional options. Christmas dinner will be available on December 24th and 25th. Reservations are required and space is limited.
Casual ChristmasFeel like a pint to go with your turkey? Big Bad Johns and the Sticky Wicket, located inside the Strathcona Hotel, will be open December 24th and 25th and ready to serve you. Have a super relaxed Christmas in a pub with your friends or family with a hearty turkey dinner and craft brew. It's time to bring out the blue jeans, leave the fancy clothes at home. Reservations are not required.
