Earth Day - Celebration of Biodiversity at Pacific Northwest Raptors

Earth Day Activity
It's Earth Day April 24th! Join us at Pacific Northwest Raptors to celebrate Big Blue. It is humbling to think about how much Earth provides for us- water, air, food, shelter...Take this opportunity to get out and thank her by appreciating her beauty and marveling at the diversity of species.
The United Nations has declared 2010 the International Year of Biodiversity to encourage increased awareness of the importance of biodiversity. Today there will be a special flying demo to honour and showcase a variety of birds of prey, each with their own unique adaptations that make them successful survivors in the wild. Join us after the 1:30pm flying demo for an eco-workshop. Children will also be able to enjoy arts and crafts activities. For more details check our website www.pnwraptors.com or call 250-746-0372.
