Canadian Armed Forces members and veterans will be honoured in a Remembrance Day ceremony held by Royal Roads University in partnership with the Vancouver Island Ex-Cadet Club (VIECC) Friday, Nov. 11 in Royal Roads' heritage Italian Garden.

Royal Roads University Board of Governors Chair and Chancellor Wayne Strandlund, VIECC member Chris G. Pratt, OMM, CD, RCN Ret'd, Capt. Madeleine Dahl, CD on behalf of 2483 Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps and members of the Girl Guides of Canada will lay wreaths at the event.

Hatley Park National Historic Site gardens, grounds and museum will be free and open to the public on the day and the university will host a reception in Hatley Castle following the ceremony.
