The British Columbia Aviation Museum is a major attraction on Vancouver and from the moment you enter the Museum's hanger located at YYJ you will feel as if you have travel back in time - with historic WW 1 and WW 2 aircrafts, touching stories, letters, and images help tell the story of how the planes and the pilots who flew them. The Museum's Memorial Room is the perfect place to pause and reflect, especially during the month of November when we Remember our soldiers and all they have done for our country. It is filled with artifacts from the wars that Canadians fought, either as members of the Royal Canadian Air Force, Royal Flying Corps, or Royal Air Force. There is also historical display of the Pat Bay Airport as it was during its time as a Commonwealth Air Training Centre, complete with models of all the aircraft that were stationed here during those years.
