In the Post-Edwardian era, before the outbreak of the First World War and the Spanish flu, a Suffolk country estate turned sanatorium for the unethically psychotic has had an outbreak of a different kind.
Now the inmates have taken over the asylum and the Feast of Fools is about to begin. Welcome to ARKENHAM ABBEY.
ARKENHAM ABBEY is a psychological horror comedy about the patients of a psychiatric hospital in the English country side who have taken over and threaten to murder the staff and visitors unless the famous vigilante detective known as The Nightwatchman agrees to meet with them.

Lead by the lord of misrule, (aka The Fool) these deranged internees (Double dealer, Man Of Straw, Conundrum, and The Fool's love sick side kick Pantaloony) attempt to drive The Nightwatchman to the breaking point until he is forced to perceive his own insanity and realize by entering Arkenham he has come home.

This Dark Detective meets Downton Abbey play uses an early 20th century English backdrop and combines many of the great Batman stories including Arkham Asylum, Killing Joke, Long Halloween and Mad Love as well as original writing and framework to tell this "alternate reality" Dark Knight story.

Warning: Due to the close proximity of actors to audience, parents with children under 13 years old should be advised that the show does contain blackouts, screaming, and moments of extreme violence.
