    Frequently Asked Questions

    Q. Do I have to be an expert at networking to attend?

    A. Absolutely not. This is a warm and welcoming place for people to get to know one another, share experiences and explore ways to support one another as they discover more about Victoria. Please join us even if you’ve never attended a networking event before or id English is a second language for you.

    Q. How can I prepare for this event?

    A. Be prepared to share a little about yourself with others – whether you’re working or looking for work and the type of work you typically do. If you’re retired, please share what type of leisure activities you enjoy + one other thing you’d like to share with other participants.

Destination Greater Victoria is honoured to be based on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation and the Esquimalt Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
