About The Greater Victoria Sports Awards

The Greater Victoria Sports Awards are an annual celebration of sport presented by the Greater Victoria Sports Tourism Commission.

The Greater Victoria Sport Tourism Commission is the membership-driven sport tourism arm of Destination Greater Victoria (DGV). The goal of the GVSTC is to attract sports-related events to the region and to enhance the economy and quality of life in Greater Victoria.

About the Logo

The Greater Victoria Sports Awards logo was commissioned by the Greater Victoria Sport Tourism Commission and created by Namgis First Nations Artist Jamin Zuroski.

The logo features a stylized salmon with the letters VIC for Victoria and VIC for Victory.

The Greater Victoria Sports Awards celebrate sport on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen speaking people. The Songhees, Esquimalt and WSANEC peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
