Susan Blanchet
CEO & Co-Founder, Origen Air
Susan, a passionate advocate for clean air, co-founded Origen Air in 2019 with the goal of revolutionizing indoor air quality. By using sustainably sourced, locally manufactured, nature-based air purifiers. Origen Air is on a mission to bring life-giving, healthy air back into our homes and workplaces, one breath at a time.
Before co-founding Origen Air, Susan spent 17 years practicing environmental law and balancing several other endeavours, including raising her three sons (who are now ages 16, 19, and 21), running a real estate and renovation company, racing sailboats, and coaching an elite soccer academy.
In 2003, Susan's father was diagnosed with dementia. This tragic diagnosis sparked a deep interest in the relationship between environmental pollutants and illness. Her research ultimately led to the creation of Origen Air and prompted her to leave her career in law to proactively improve people's lives, one breath at a time.
