David Miller is leading the development of a new C40 led research centre on Urban Climate and Economy, which will focus on city based equitable climate solutions -- and the economic forces that require them.

David Miller is the author of “Solved: how the great cities of the world are fixing the climate crisis” and is a leading thinker about issues of urban sustainability. He is a former elected official (Mayor of Toronto 2003 - 2010), not for profit leader, and a lawyer, having practiced law for eight years before entering politics. He studied economics at Harvard, is a former Fellow at New York University, has an honourary PhD from the University of Waterloo and is currently Executive in Residence at the Gustavson Business School at the University of Victoria.
