Blake Rogers

Executive Director, Tourism Industry Association of the Yukon

A teacher by trade, with roots in Nova Scotia’s tourism industry, Blake has lived in the Yukon for over a decade. During that time, he has taught in a rural community, worked as a senior political advisor, and been involved with a wide range of community development initiatives across the North.

He has served on numerous boards and committees, including the Yukon Chamber of Commerce, the Yukon’s Strategic Marketing Advisory Council, the Provincial Territorial Tourism Industry Association, and the Aboriginal Tourism Marketing Circle, which grew to become the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada.  He is currently Canada’s representative on the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC).

Blake has been the Executive Director of the Tourism Industry Association of the Yukon since March, 2012.
