Douglas is increasingly seeking creative solutions to help Cathay Pacific’s top corporate customers address the impact of their business travel on the environment, working closely with the airline’s sustainability team and highlighting to leadership the growing prevalence of sustainability issues in his interactions with corporate travel buyers and influencers.
Douglas earned his Master’s in International Cooperation Policy from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in Japan, where his coursework touched on sustainability issues and where he carried out research around the confluence of international sports and politics ahead of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
