Mark Hume is a Vancouver-based freelance journalist and author whose primary focus is on the history, politics, and future of British Columbia’s natural heritage.
Mark has been writing about environmental, social and political issues since the 1970s, including working 15 years as a National Correspondent for The Globe and Mail, and has contributed more than 7000 articles to public and political discourse, along with five natural history books, including Trout School: Lessons from a Fly-Fishing Master, released in 2019 and available on Amazon or at local outlets.
