With a background in tour operating, Julie supports businesses and governments to embed sustainable thinking and doing into their tourism strategies and operations.
As the lead practitioner in developing the Travel Foundation's portfolio of tools and training, Julie's experience includes: developing minimum standards for sustainability for hotels in Cyprus; running resource efficiency workshops in the Caribbean, Asia, North Africa and Europe; capacity building with SMEs in more than 20 destinations; designing and delivering `train the trainer courses' and the development of the Travel Foundation's online training platform.
