Take advantage of the Tourism Victoria member network. A big part of Tourism Victoria's commitment to members is encouraging them to connect with the many services and advantages available with their membership. These include corporate events, member events, workshops and monthly mixers. All events promote networking and business development.

Annual General Meeting

Tourism Victoria's Annual General Meeting (AGM) is an opportunity for members to meet, learn about our achievements, approve the audited financial statements and review the previous year's Annual Report. The AGM is also when Tourism Victoria honours tourism community leaders through our Miracle Award and Life Member Award.

Join other members for a monthly mixer to network, exchange ideas and meet new contacts in a fun, informal environment.

Mixers are a great way to interact with other vibrant business people and enjoy tasty refreshments at a wide range of venues across Greater Victoria. Unless advertised otherwise, our mixers are reserved exclusively for Tourism Victoria members and their staff.

From business development tools to tourism industry updates and marketing techniques, our seminars and workshops (in addition to our eNewsletter) will keep you informed. Don’t miss these valuable learning opportunities.

Coffee Talks

We’re always interested in getting to know more about our members and keeping up-to-date on their business.

A Coffee Talk is a 20-minute informal presentation at Tourism Victoria’s Corporate Office where we learn about your business, your products and/or any new services you offer. They’re a great opportunity to meet our staff and explore how we can collaborate. A Coffee Talk is a powerful way to start your new membership or update us about your business. We also encourage you to present Coffee Talks to our staff at the Visitor Centre.


Annual Christmas Luncheon & Elections Meeting

Held in early December each year, Tourism Victoria's Annual Christmas Luncheon combines a traditional turkey luncheon with fundraising efforts for the BC Hospitality Foundation, Tourism Victoria's Official Charity Partner.

The event includes a short elections meeting and introduction to the Board of Directors. One of our most popular events, the Christmas Luncheon is a great opportunity to network and get in the holiday spirit.
