Pre-Conference Tour: Day of IMPACT

Join us for a day of experiential learning as we showcase thriving tourism businesses that have implemented sustainable practices into everyday operations. Cruise Victoria's Inner Harbour with Eagle Wing Tours, the world's first carbon-neutral whale watching company, and learn from local operators and organizations who are proving that true sustainability is not only possible, it's profitable. A locally inspired, responsibly sourced lunch at sea will be provided to all participants. Tour highlights include:

Victoria International Marina

Join Craig Norris, CEO, Victoria International Marina, as he shares the marina's sustainability journey from conception to development into operations. See first-hand how the marina supports superyachts while addressing sustainability and the environment. Be prepared to tour the marina’s amenity building including the private captain and crew lounge while hearing updates on the lighting, power, fiber optic cable, water, wildlife and dock services including an update on the reef ball project coordinated by Greg Parish from the marina.

City of Victoria

The City of Victoria is making investments in transportation infrastructure to make it easier and greener for visitors to get to the island and explore the diverse array of natural and historical landmarks, culture, cuisine and festivals. Attend the Day of Impact Tour and learn what the City of Victoria is doing to welcome visitors, including ferry terminal upgrades, dedicated bus lanes, waterfront pedestrian pathways, protected bike lanes, and EV charging stations.
