Fall Festivals & Events

The days may be shorter, but there’s no shortage of things to do on a crisp autumn day in Victoria. The brilliant colours of fall hint at the vibrant, diverse festivals of the season.

Rifflandia

Rifflandia is Victoria’s largest music and arts festival, spanning the downtown core over 4 days every September. Whether you’re a regular concert goer or not, this four day, multi-venue festival brings in a diverse lineup that you won’t want to miss!

Brewery and the Beast

Meat lovers unite! This premium culinary festival showcases high-quality, local meats prepared by talented local chefs as a means of educating guests on the importance of becoming a conscientious consumer. Held annually at Phillips Brewing Company, there’s plenty of great beer to go around as well.

Art of the Cocktail

The Art of the Cocktail is Victoria’s premier cocktail event of the year. The event welcomes bartenders to compete in the Bar Games and also features a Grand Tasting, where guests can sample a wealth of cocktails and spirits while nibbling on appetizers created by Victoria’s very own talented chefs.

Salt Spring Island Apple Festival

Salt Spring Island is home to over 450 varieties of apples organically, with an apple history dating back to 1860. Festival attendees can take part in apple tastings, farm tours, educational sessions on apple growing, and locally prepared food from the islands’ best chefs. A perfect fall event for the entire family.

Vancouver Island Corn Maze

Nothing quite says fall like a corn maze, does it? Located in beautiful North Saanich at Pendray Farms with over 10km of trails with 14 acres of corn. Take the chance to disconnect from your phones and get lost in some of the tallest corn on Vancouver Island! Activities for all ages including a treasure hunt, kid’s maze and corn sandbox. Bring your boots and flashlight if you're visiting at night!
