Download Tips

2) Click on the "Link" button. A new window will open displaying the image.
3) Click on the "All Sizes" button (it is the option just above the picture on the top left side).
4) Pick your desired picture size/resolution, then click on the Download icon to save the image to your computer.

Image Library History

In February 2007, we invited residents and visitors alike to send photos of their favourite Victoria moments in to Tourism Victoria’s first ever ‘Full of Life’ photo contest.
Over 4,500 submissions flooded in, showing just how full of life Victoria really is. We received pictures of wildlife, plants and gardens, the ocean and its creatures, arts and cultural events, festivals, city and streetscapes, outdoor adventures, sports, architecture, and many others.
Here are just a few of those outstanding candid images – seen through the eyes of Victoria’s residents and visitors. When you visit us, bring your camera and capture Victoria's full of life setting.

Terms And Guidelines Of Image Use

Photo Credit

Tourism Victoria requires borrowers to provide photo credits each time an image is used. Photo credits are to Tourism Victoria and the photographer, if specified. Please note photo credit information is listed directly below each image. Failure to include the proper credit or improper use of the photo(s), as specified in this agreement, will result in the user being liable to pay the photographer, the market rate per photograph, per photo application.

Commercial Use

Images may be used for non-commercial promotional purposes including editorial coverage, printed brochures, rack cards, website and posters for the purpose of promoting the Greater Victoria area and Vancouver Island as a tourism destination.

Images may not be used for direct commercial or paid advertising and promotions which includes but is not limited to print, on-line and multimedia advertising and promotions. Images may not be used for any merchandising or retailing purpose.

Terms

Images cannot be altered, adapted or enhanced.
Images also may not be duplicated or reproduced.
