In Caribbean culture, the word “Tabanca” is a term originating in Trinidad & Tobago that describes that deep feeling of longing or heartbreak when you just can’t get over someone—or something.

After the first i-Land Fest in 2024, the Tabanca was real! People were already missing the soca, Carnival energy, community and vibes, so we created i-Land Fest Tabanca Fete to bring everyone back together.

Now in its third year, Tabanca is our annual post-i-Land Fest reunion—a night to reconnect, fete and bring back a little of that Carnival feeling we’ve all been missing.

This Year’s Fete: Get ready for a night of soca, calypso, dancehall, reggae and more, with two special guest DJs flying in for Tabanca! Artist reveal coming soon.

Date: Friday, October 23, 2026
