2026 Scottish Highland Games Women’s World Championships
Tickets starting at $14.11 (Early Bird)
Athletes from around the world will gather in Victoria this spring as the Victoria Highland Games and Celtic Festival hosts the 2026 Scottish Highland Games Women’s World Championship for the first time in Canada.
The two-day event, set for May 16 and 17 at Topaz Park, will feature reigning world champion Kristine Rothwell of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, alongside national champions from Canada, Scotland, the Netherlands and the United States.
Local competitor Erin Swanson, who calls both Victoria and Fort St. John home, is also expected to compete in the heavy events competition, a traditional test of strength rooted in centuries-old Scottish culture.
