Tuba Christmas returns to Market Square in downtown Victoria for one of Victoria’s most beloved holiday traditions! The annual gathering brings together more than 100 tuba and euphonium players from across the region to play your favourite holiday carols. Donations will be accepted for the Times Colonist Christmas Fund, a charity that assists the people most in need in the Greater-Victoria community.

Tuba Christmas dates back to 1974 where it originated in New York City. Concerts now take place in over 200 cities worldwide. 2024 is the 50th anniversary for Tuba Christmas events presented throughout the world. Tuba Chirstmas Victoria is directed by Scott MacInnes.

Destination Greater Victoria is honoured to be based on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation and Xwsepsum Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
