July 3–9
Join Canadian Society of Marine Artists member Christina Morrison for the 6th Annual West Coast Tug Project Show at the ArtSea Gallery in Tulista Park, 9565 Fifth St, Sidney, BC. The gallery is open daily from 10–4.

Christina’s long‑term mission is to paint every tugboat on the West Coast of British Columbia—a fleet of more than 575 vessels, with 119 completed so far. Living on an island means tugboats are vital to our way of life, and Christina hopes this project will become a meaningful part of our maritime history.

She will be on-site painting throughout the entire week, and there will be an opening reception on Saturday, July 4 from 2–5 PM. Christina looks forward to meeting everyone who has supported this remarkable project over the years, and to celebrating another successful chapter with many more ahead.

Destination Greater Victoria is honoured to be based on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation and Xwsepsum Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
