AfriCa Fest Victoria is a four-day multicultural celebration of African and Afro-descendant arts, culture, food, music, dance, and community taking place at Ship Point in Victoria’s Inner Harbour from June 4–7, 2026. Celebrating its 13th edition, the festival brings together artists, performers, cultural groups, food vendors, artisans, youth, families, and community organizations for an immersive cultural experience.

This year’s festival features four unique experiences:

• June 4 – UJAMAA Night Market
• June 5 – Afro-Latin Experience
• June 6 – Youth Experience & African Cultural Workshops
• June 7 – Multicultural Day presented with support from Canadian Heritage

Festival attendees will enjoy:

Live music and cultural performances
African, Caribbean, Latin American, Asian, Pacific Islander, and Indigenous cultural showcases
Food vendors and international cuisine
Artisan and marketplace vendors
Dance and drumming workshops
Youth and family activities
Cultural exhibitions and community engagement opportunities
Evening social dances and interactive experiences

AfriCa Fest promotes intercultural understanding, diversity, inclusion, tourism, and community connection while celebrating the contributions of African and Afro-descendant communities within Canada’s multicultural mosaic. The event is organized by AACCCS–ISSAMBA Centre, a Black-led cultural organization dedicated to advancing awareness and appreciation of African heritage through arts, culture, education, and community engagement.

Admission Details:

Free admission to the outdoor festival grounds. Some special activities, workshops, and evening performances may require registration or ticket purchase. Donations are welcome to support community programming

Destination Greater Victoria is honoured to be based on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation and Xwsepsum Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
