Afternoon Tea for a cause: Support Purple Thursday at Pendray Tea House
On Sunday, October 18, 2026, step inside the historic Pendray Tea House in Victoria’s Inner Harbour for our third annual Purple Thursday Afternoon Tea, a special day of tea, tradition and community in support of survivors of domestic violence and brain injury awareness.
Set within a beautifully restored 1896 Victorian mansion, guests can enjoy Pendray’s Traditional Afternoon Tea, complete with delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones and handcrafted sweets, while supporting an important cause. 50% of all Afternoon Tea revenue from the day will be donated to Canadian Royal Purple and the BC Brain Injury Association.
Canadian Royal Purple is a national volunteer organization dedicated to strengthening communities and supporting initiatives that improve the lives of Canadians. Through its Purple Thursday initiative, the organization works to raise awareness of the often-overlooked connection between intimate partner violence and traumatic brain injury and to advocate for greater understanding and support for survivors.
Now in its third year at Pendray Tea House, Purple Thursday is a wonderful opportunity to gather with friends and family, experience one of Victoria’s most beloved traditions, and make your afternoon together even more meaningful.
