Aged to Perfection Gala: An Evening of Empowerment and Celebration in Support of Victoria Women’s Transition House

Shirley A Tease Productions, in collaboration with Cypress Lane Marketing & Design are thrilled to announce the Aged to Perfection gala event, taking place on Friday, October 4th, 2024, at the Scottish Community Centre, 1803 Admirals Road, Victoria. This enchanting evening promises to celebrate the beauty, confidence, and empowerment of femmes over 40 through a mesmerizing burlesque performance, while raising vital funds for the Victoria Women’s Transition House Society.

A Cause Close to Our Hearts: This special evening holds a deeper purpose: raising vital funds for
the Victoria Women’s Transition House (VWTH), an organization that has provided essential services
since 1974. VWTH offers supportive shelter, housing, counseling, and other community-based
services to women and children affected by intimate partner violence. The organization’s
comprehensive programs include an 18-bed Emergency Shelter, a 24-hour Crisis & Information Line,
specialized support for women 50+, and a newly built, 50-unit second-stage housing program in the
Westshore, opening this fall.
