Join the UVic Music Student Association (MSA) for a transformative afternoon that amplifies voices often unheard in the world of music. In this annual recital, talented students from the School of Music will perform and share personal insights about compositions by marginalized artists. This event shines a spotlight on the rich diversity in music, while addressing important challenges of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in the musical landscape. Celebrate the power of music to bring awareness, spark dialogue, and inspire change in both the art form and the institutions that shape it.

This event is part of UVic’s annual Five Days of Action: 365 Days of Commitment, taking place from November 4-8, 2024. 5 Days of Action is a free, week-long event aimed at amplifying the work groups, units, and organizations (on- and off-campus) are doing to create a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable campus and community throughout the year.

Destination Greater Victoria is honoured to be based on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation and Xwsepsum Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
