HomeThings to DoBurnout Recovery Through Art: A Saturday Morning Workshop

A gentle, hands-on workshop using creative expression to explore burnout and build strategies for recovery.

Burnout often builds slowly, until it’s hard to remember what it felt like before. If you’ve been feeling depleted, disconnected, or like you’re just going through the motions, you’re not alone, and you’re not broken. You might just need a different way in. This 90-minute workshop uses guided art-making to help you explore where burnout is showing up in your life, in your body, your emotions, and your day-to-day. No art experience is needed. The creative process is the tool, not the goal.

What we’ll do together:
– A grounding exercise to arrive and settle in
– Guided creative exercises exploring your relationship with stress and depletion
– Reflection and gentle group sharing (only what feels comfortable)
– Building a personal recovery map, something concrete you can take with you

This workshop may be a good fit if you’re:
– Feeling emotionally or physically exhausted from work or caregiving
– Noticing that your usual coping strategies aren’t working the way they used to
– Curious about how creativity may benefit your mental health
– Looking for a supported space to pause and check in with yourself
