Mark your calendars for a celebration of community, coastline, and conservation at the Cadboro Bay Festival, returning to Cadboro-Gyro Park on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Admission is free, and all are welcome!

This popular annual event brings the community together in one of Saanich’s most beloved waterfront parks to celebrate ocean recreation, environmental stewardship, and the home of a variety of migratory birds and marine life (as well as the legendary Cadborosaurus!). Cadboro Bay is the perfect setting for a day of fun and learning.

This year’s theme continues to focus on ocean sustainability and recreation. Attendees can connect with local groups supporting marine conservation, learn how to responsibly enjoy ocean activities like sailing, swimming and more on the water, and discover more about the wildlife that calls our coastal waters home. We’ll also have face painting, craft stations, live music, food trucks and more!

The main stage will feature local acts including The Projectors, Boneyard Babes, and Slim Sandy’s Atomic Cocktails.

Destination Greater Victoria is honoured to be based on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation and Xwsepsum Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
