In honour of Earth Day 2025, Oak Bay United Church is hosting an all-ages community art & storytelling event, featuring author Robert “Lucky” Budd.

The event will begin at 2 pm (doors at 1:45 pm), with Budd telling the traditional Northwest Coast legend Orca Chief in the sanctuary. Afterwards, all are invited to the downstairs Community Hall for hands-on art activities for all ages. Light refreshments will be available.

Entry to the Oak Bay United Church Sanctuary is via Granite St.
Accessibility: for those with limited mobility, the OBUC Sanctuary can be reached by an accessibility lift, located off Granite Street, just east of the main entrance ramp.

Destination Greater Victoria is honoured to be based on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation and Xwsepsum Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
