Dog Walk for Wolves
Join us on International Wolf Day for a dog walk with a purpose – Come and learn more about the importance of BC wolves and the threats they face.
Hosted by Pacific Wild, this free, family-friendly event explores the existing link between dogs and their closest living relatives.
Meet us at the Cameron Bandshell in Beacon Hill Park with your pup (or just yourself!) for pre-walk activities such as a wolf howl competition with a fun prize for the winner, a photo booth for you and your furry friends, a sign making station to show your support for the conservation of B.C. wolves, and an information booth where you can learn more about the B.C. wolf cull.
We will walk together from Beacon Hill Park to the Legislative Fountain for a group photo, including a quick stop at the Victoria Centennial Fountain to visit the Bronze Wolf statue.
