Experience the power of choral music at this culminating concert of the Victoria Conservatory of Music’s Choral Summer Intensive. Led by conductor Brian Wismath and featuring the Emily Carr String Quartet, the program includes a newly commissioned work by Iman Habibi on deforestation and bird migration, and the Canadian premiere of The Brontë Suite by Libby Croad.

This concert celebrates the talents of singers from the week-long intensive, designed to elevate choral skills in a dynamic and collaborative setting.

Presented with support from the Gail O’Riordan Climate and the Arts Legacy Fund through the Victoria Foundation.

Entrance for this event in Alix Goolden Performance Hall is at 900 Johnson Street.

Destination Greater Victoria is honoured to be based on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation and Xwsepsum Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
