Emily Carr Inspired Art Class: Cherry Blossoms

Come join us for an art class at the beautiful Carr House National Historic Site! This class is uniquely designed to bring together generations to connect through art-making. We encourage you to register with your child, a parent, a grandparent, a neighbour, or a friend! Or register individually to meet people in your community! In this session, we will be drawing inspiration from the legendary artist Emily Carr and focusing on creating cherry blossoms together. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to unleash your inner artist in a historic setting with your community!

About the instructor
Helga Strauss is an artist, educator, and therapeutic arts practitioner. She is also a tree lover and writes a monthly column called Glorious Trees in our Neighborhood for the James Bay Beacon. In her personal art practice, she creates art every day, following her joy and curiosity. As a teacher for over 30 years, she encourages her students to do the same.
