Folktoria is a free festival celebrating nine years of bringing community together through multicultural music, dance, food, crafts, and song, plus a new community display, Brought From Home. This year’s festival falls during BC’s Multiculturalism Week, a fitting time to celebrate the province’s diverse cultures and heritage.

Spend two full days with friends and family, engaging with over 35 organizations representing their culture and heritage. Opening Ceremony begins at 10:00am, Saturday, November 21, 2026.

Folktoria is a production of the Greater Victoria Folk Festival Society, with deep gratitude to the funding organizations, sponsors, volunteers, and the Royal BC Museum.

Destination Greater Victoria is honoured to be based on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation and Xwsepsum Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
