Meet new people, boost your confidence and have a ton of fun with Garden City’s improv and sketch writing classes! With beginner and advanced classes available, Garden City Improv has something for everybody. All classes are taught in a low-pressure, supportive environment.

IMPROV 101 WITH JEN YAMASAKI
For the complete beginner, no experience necessary! Jen Yamasaki (Theatresports) will teach you the basics of improv through hilarious games and exercises.
Thursdays 7PM-9PM, April 24th to May 29th

SKETCH COMEDY 101 WITH KEVIN MATVIW
Learn the fundamentals of sketch comedy writing and performance. Kevin Matviw (Just For Laughs Toronto) is an experienced actor/writer for The Second City in Toronto and was a member of the Canadian Comedy Award winning sketch troupe The Sketchersons.
Saturdays 1PM-3PM, April 26th to May 31st.

IMPROV 201 WITH ANDREW GARDNER
Take your skills to the next level! Andrew Gardner (Just for Laughs Toronto) will teach you how to succeed at performance games as seen on Theatresports and Whose Line is it Anyway.
Tuesdays 7PM-9PM, April 22nd to May 27th

IMPROV 301 WITH KEVIN MATVIW
This workshop will expand on skills taught in Improv 201 with a focus on classic, advanced short-form games from shows like Theatresports and open scenework as it relates to longform improv and The Harold. If you are interested in performing with Garden City Improv, this is the class for you!
