This year, the Jaguar Club of Victoria (JCCV) will be hosting its highly anticipated event called JOTI – Jaguars On The Island. The Concours d’Elegance and car show will be held on Saturday, July 19th. Concours d’Elegance, from the French, meaning a competition of elegance, refers to the gathering of prestigious cars which are strictly judged on their appearance, authenticity and condition. This year, JCCV has extended a very special welcome to the ASTON MARTIN OWNERS CLUB celebrating their 90th anniversary.

The venue attracts upward of 120 Jaguar car entrants annually, with all the cars displayed on the beautiful grounds of Windsor Park, Oak Bay. This welcoming, free to the public experience runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. JOTI consistently holds the distinction of being the largest open-air gathering of Jaguar automobiles in North America held in the charming city of Victoria. It is a major event for the Victoria club, which entices enthusiastic members from B.C., Alberta, Washington, Oregon and sometimes, as far flung as California and Arizona.

A wide variety of Jaguar car types spanning many eras are on display, from large saloon cars to sleek sports cars. This year’s feature pays tribute to the iconic E-Type XKE, produced from 1961 to 1974. The E-Type was dubbed as the “most beautiful car in the world” by none other than Enzo Ferrari and is often considered to be one of, if not the greatest, sports car of all time

Destination Greater Victoria is honoured to be based on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation and Xwsepsum Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
