Learn about mason bees and their valuable role as pollinators. Assemble and decorate a mason bee house to take home! Mason bee cocoons will be available for purchase.
About your facilitator: Dr. Cara Gibson
Cara has had a varied career in science research, management, and education with over 24 years in science communications and outreach! Cara is currently the Executive Director at Swan Lake Nature Sanctuary on Lekwungen Territory — a living classroom with 8 staff and 300 volunteers dedicated to offering an accessible gathering place to practice ecological restoration and the skills for a climate-resilient future.
