The Victoria Philharmonic Choir celebrates its 20th season with a special performance of Felix Mendelssohn’s dramatic oratorio, ELIJAH – a trip to heaven in a fiery musical chariot!

Conducted by Peter Butterfield, the performance features a roster of noted Canadian soloists: renowned operatic baritone Russell Braun as Elijah, soprano Melody Courage, mezzo-soprano Emma Parkinson, and tenor Jean-Philippe Lazure, as well as a large orchestra and the 75-member choir.

Elijah is infused with the spirit of Mendelssohn’s musical heroes, Bach and Handel, and his own youthful genius.
Advance tickets are recommended. Festival seating.
