We’re taking over Swans Pub for a singles night that definitely doesn’t feel like your average blind date.

Expect a packed bar filled with Victoria singles, incredible music, flowing drinks and plenty of opportunities to meet someone new, without the awkward speed dating, forced icebreakers or endless swiping.

1. Upon arrival, you’ll take a short matching questionnaire built by Matchbox’s research team and curated by your host.

2. The Matchbox algorithm uses relationship science to identify your optimal match in the room.

3. After mingling with the whole group, a series of clues brings you closer.

4. Matches are revealed later in the night.

6:30 pm — Doors open
7:15 pm — Event begins
7:30 pm — Questionnaire begins
7:50 pm — Questionnaire closes and the first group drops
8:00 pm — First match drops
8:30pm — Second group drops
8:45pm — Second match drops
9:00 pm — Third group drops
9:15 pm — Third match drops
9:30 pm — Continue the convo or meet someone new
10:00pm — Event concludes
