As the largest juried art show on Vancouver Island, the Sooke Fine Arts Show boasts a rich legacy spanning 38 years.

The 10-day arts festival is a vibrant celebration of creativity, featuring exceptional artworks by talented artists from Vancouver Island and BC’s Coastal Islands. Along with a chance to view the juried world-class fine art, the event includes live music, artist demos, lectures, and an array of activities catering to all ages.
Among the Show’s highlights are a delightful afternoon dedicated to seniors, offering tea and scones, along with a special day tailored for families, children, and youth. Visitors can purchase fine art pieces from the juried exhibition, check out smaller works at the gallery gift shop, and marvel at creations by young talents from School District 62 at the Youth Art Gallery.

An impressive lineup of over 270 established and emerging artists showcases their original creations across diverse categories such as painting, sculpture, photography, fibre arts, ceramics, and hand-formed jewelry. Honouring outstanding creativity and skill, awards totaling over $12,000 await the deserving recipients.
Behind the scenes, the show comes to life with the dedicated efforts of more than 300 volunteers, embodying the spirit of community that inspired the inaugural Sooke Fine Art Show in 1986.
