On Saturday May 9th, 2026, our Annual Victoria Tartan Parade will start from Centennial Square at 11 am to promote the 163rd Victoria Highland Games & Celtic Festival happening the following weekend.

The parade will travel down Government Street to the Belleville Street intersection and on to the Legislature lawns where there will be performances and demonstrations of Highland Games events. The parade will consist of pipe bands, highland dancers and members of local Scottish organizations and associated groups.

Whether you’re of Scottish/Celtic heritage and have a family tartan to don, or you simply love the fashion, you are welcome to join in on the parade and put it on display. For more information contact Brian Bowman and be sure to wear yer tartan!

Destination Greater Victoria is honoured to be based on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation and Xwsepsum Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
