
The Avenue Gallery – Feature Artist – Carolyn Houg
Carolyn Houg’s clay menagerie presents animals in playful, unexpected ways, inviting us to reflect on the shared experiences and connections we have with other creatures. With past accolades including an Award of Excellence and Designers’ Choice Award at the Sooke Fine Arts Show, Carolyn has showcased her work in numerous solo and group exhibitions across Western Canada. She studied Fine Arts at Sir George Williams University (now Concordia University) in Montreal and the University of Alberta in Edmonton.

Destination Greater Victoria is honoured to be based on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation and Xwsepsum Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
