free admission

An exhibition of drawings by Liz Charsley in charcoal, oil pastel and watercolour, celebrating her return home to Victoria from London, UK, where she lived and worked for 33 years . Titled “This Must Be The Place” (borrowed from the Talking Heads song about being home), the exhibition consists of familiar and remembered views of the coastlines of Victoria, summers spent on Hornby Island, and travels across the province to Alberta’s snowy urban trails, rolling prairie, and mountains.

Destination Greater Victoria is honoured to be based on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation and Xwsepsum Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
