The UVic Wind Symphony presents its final concert of the season with a dynamic program spanning classic and contemporary wind band repertoire. The evening features music by Robert Buckley, Julie Giroux, Kevin Day, Katahj Copley, and Joel Love, alongside Gustav Holst’s landmark First Suite in E-flat. The program also highlights concerto competition winner Ethan Page (marimba) performing Emmanuel Séjourné’s Concerto for Marimba and Wind Orchestra. Prepare for a performance that celebrates the full expressive range of the wind ensemble—bold, lyrical, boundary-pushing, and soaring, under the baton of Steven Capaldo.

Destination Greater Victoria is honoured to be based on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation and Xwsepsum Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
