The oldest continuously running art group in western Canada, the Victoria Sketch Club (VSC) will be celebrating its 117th year. Past VSC members include such notables as Ted Harrison, Emily Carr, Jack Shadbolt, Max Maynard, and Samuel McClure.

B.C.’s Lieutenant-Governor and Patron of the Victoria Sketch Club, Wendy Cocchia said,“it gives me such pleasure to know that once again, the Victoria Sketch Club is holding its annual show and sale. I wish them a most enjoyable and successful time.”

With over 140 original paintings for sale and artists in attendance,
this highly anticipated event opens on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, and runs until Sunday, March 22.

The venue will be the Glenlyon-Norfolk School Gym, Beach Drive campus, in Oak Bay, Victoria, BC.

Destination Greater Victoria is honoured to be based on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation and Xwsepsum Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
