Pay What You Can from $15

Through an international collaboration that highlighted the similarities of Indigenous peoples across the borders of Canada and the United States, this exciting dance production explores intergenerational teachings that are passed from Elders to adults to youth.

There are important connections between people, animals and plants that can be shared by Indigenous peoples who are caretakers of the land. We need to live in harmony with Mother Earth and allow these natural medicines to once again help us.

Inspired by cultural ancestral knowledge of Mitchif plant medicines, this international collaboration between Vancouver’s V’ni Dansi and Sante Fe’s Dancing Earth celebrates people’s connection to earth and highlights the importance of plant medicine in Indigenous cultures.

Destination Greater Victoria is honoured to be based on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation and Xwsepsum Nation, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
