Founder, Look Ahead Consulting

A seasoned tourism professional, Anna began her career in the UK, honing skills at Thomas Cook and the Cosmosair group. Emigrating to Canada in 2005, she broadened her tourism knowledge within the competitive ski industry in British Columbia. In 2014, settling in Edmonton, Alberta, she led Explore Edmonton's Business Events team for eight years, revolutionizing strategies and forging key partnerships for the DMO. In 2022, Anna founded Look Ahead Consulting to position business events as catalysts for long-term positive societal, environmental, and economic benefits. Committed to sustainability, she completed studies with the Global Destination Sustainability Movement, leaving a legacy of sustainable practices and economic growth in the communities she serves. In the fall of 2023, she took on a second role, co-owning and operating a small ski area in Edmonton with her husband, Derek.
