Jeremy Loveday

Director of Public Affairs, Destination Stewardship and Sustainability, Destination Greater Victoria

Jeremy Loveday is a strategic and creative leader who brings a diverse range of professional experience to his role as Director of Public Affairs, Destination Stewardship and Sustainability at Destination Greater Victoria. 

A former Victoria City Councillor and CRD Director, Jeremy is guided by his passion for building vibrant and sustainable communities, and his belief that Victoria is one of the greatest small cities in the world. Jeremy’s extensive governance, strategy, and fiscal oversight experience includes previous service on the board of Destination Greater Victoria, and as a Trustee of the Greater Victoria Public Library, Chair of the CRD Arts Commission, and Chair of the Capital Regional Housing Corporation. Actively engaged in the industry, Jeremy is now a member of the Destinations International Advocacy Committee and the National Destination Development Working Group. 

Jeremy holds an MBA with a specialization in Innovation, Enterprise, and the Circular Economy from the University of Bradford.
