Nancy Small

CEO, Tourism Richmond

Originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland and CEO of Tourism Richmond since 2018, Nancy has worked all over the world – including stints in The Netherlands, Toronto and Sydney, Australia. With an extensive background in the tourism industry, she specializes in strategic planning, destination management, stakeholder development and marketing strategy.

Very active in the tourism industry and in the Richmond community, Nancy is the current chair of the BC Destination Marketing Association, with a membership of almost 60 DMOs across BC.

She is also a member of the executive team of the Canadian Destinations Leadership Council, a director of the Richmond Chamber of Commerce, a director of go2HR, a member of the Tourism Emergency Management Committee and a member of the fundraising group for the Richmond Cares Richmond Gives Foundation "Not So Silent Night" event.

Passionate about all things Richmond, Nancy loves its diversity of food, the biking trails, culture and shopping.
